Sydney Lakeside Holiday Park is under the Management of Anvera Pty Ltd and has been since 1999.
Karen and John Dineen have been the Directors of Anvera Pty Ltd – a company which originated in Queensland since 1985 and specializes in Hospitality Management and commenced their relationship with the Park’s owners, Pittwater Council, in late 1999.
Anvera currently employs over 14 local staff and is actively involved in providing job opportunities for junior staff and in offering Work Experience opportunities to local College students in an effort to create Hospitality opportunities and ongoing employment on the Northern Beaches.
John Dineen has owned and operated hotels, resorts, motels and caravan parks as well as guiding other major tourism developments from building stage through to operation and beyond over the past 20 years. John’s specialty is his ability to bring a property “out of the doldrums’; inject it with sustainability; stablise its operations including staffing and re position and re brand such properties in the marketplace.
John has had past associations with major Tourism bodies including NSW Tourism; Sydney Tourism; Sunlover Holidays; West Australian Tourist Commission;, and ATEC. He has been a past Chairman and founding member of both the Port Douglas and Daintree Tourism Association and Sydney Northern Beaches Visitors Association.
John has owned and operated and managed large and small restaurants and has held a Liquor and Gaming Licence in Queensland and Liquor Licence in Western Australia.
John excels in catering and is able to provide catering for both large and small functions.
To compliment John’s “hands on skills” is Karen’s extensive background in Hospitality, Information and Technology, Systems, Accounting, Advertising including copywriting and marketing and promotion.
